Grandmaster Shin Young Kong, a direct descendant of the venerable sage and philosopher Kung Fu Tse aka Confucius
(Chinese: 孔子; pinyin: Kǒng Zǐ; Wade–Giles: K'ung-tzu, or Chinese: 孔夫子; pinyin: Kǒng Fūzǐ; Wade–Giles: K'ung-fu-tzu), literally "Master Kong",
demonstrates Side Kick "Yup Chaki" with technical perfection of form during One-step Sparring "Il Soo Sik" with the legendary late Grandmaster Sang Soo "Tiger" Kim.

According to the son of founder Hwang, Kee and current Supreme Grandmaster H.C. Hwang in a 1999 phone conversation he shared with me that both he and his father were complimentary of GM Kong's technique.
Kim and Kong were both undefeated Lightweight and Heavyweight Korean National Champions for about three years from approximately 1959-62 respectively.
These great men have set an extremely high standard of excellence for us to emulate. GM Kong is a very reserved person with a very humble attitude and is of the highest character much like his famous ancestor.
